This may sound surprising, but there are two clear proven benefits for kids playing Fortnite.

On the surface Fortnite doesn’t come across as educational game.

So what are the benefits for kids playing Fortnite?

1. Development of Problem Solving Skills
Fortnite isn’t just a 1st person shooter game. It also contains a Creative Sandbox mode where players can create their custom maps and game modes. This has the potential to encourage creativity in children and teach them problem solving skills and engineering skills just like Minecraft does.

2. Sense of Community
By playing Fortnite, kids can find a sense of community. Online groups or gaming clans usually create friendships and a sense of belonging. This helps to boost a childs confidence and their resilience against negative outcomes.
